I’m new to RV travel and took a trip to an Alabama State Park solo. I’m considering whether I want to be an RV owner. Dufourfun RV Rentals is working with me through the RV rental process. Jolie is the primary contact and she and the owner, George, met with me at the business site to walk through Class C RV’s I might be interested in renting. They made recommendations for a first time RVer like me. After I decided on a rental, Jolie sent me links prior to the trip with “how to” everything RV setup and usage. She also was readily available by phone day or night with any questions I had while on the trip. The RV was super clean when I picked it up. Jolie walked me through some of the RV functions I had a question about. I rented a 25 ft Class C and I was comfortable driving the Ford truck chassis. Jolie and George went above and beyond to make this a great first time solo RV trip for me. I am booking my second RV rental trip with them in Nov. They also have used RV sales. I’ll want to talk to them about purchase options if I decide to become an RV owner!

Jolie (Who seems to run the show) was super helpful and very knowledgeable walked us first timers through everything and made us comfortable with how to operate RV. Unit was literally brand new. It out performed our expectations and we had a wonderful family adventure in North Alabama over a three night excursion. Jolie Checked in on us via text every day just to make sure everything was going OK and help me with a few questions on how to operate this or that during the trip promptly. Our units sleep five people comfortably and had everything from hot shower, oven, microwave,Even had a functional thermostat to keep us warm at night along with a very well functioning refrigerator and freezer and that ran the entire time and barely used any LP gas. Would highly recommend it for anybody looking for an RV get away.... We were first time RV’ers so Jerry recommended Wally or Eva as the easiest to drive, and he was right!! He and Jolie were so accommodating and helpful when we arrived and explained everything so well. We had a great week and look forward to making more memories in the future with an RV from Dufourfun.

Previously on Outdoorsy I have rented a Class B and Class A. Fred is the first Class C, and I was impressed. Class A ... sometimes too Big, Class B, sometimes too small Fred... Just Right! We stayed at Henderson Beach State Park near Destin, FL for a week. 250 mile drive. Fred was easier to drive that I expected. Steers easier than my car. Decent turning radius so getting in and out of the Grocery store parking lot wasn't hard at all. Just had to pay a little more attention while in tight shopping center lots. I parked in two spots which wasnt an issue, just had to look and plan the exit so I didnt get blocked in. Having the generator, meant I was able to run the a/c while waiting on my wife shopping (slow poke). The a/c works great, stayed cool the first few days in 98 degree heat. I liked the U-shaped dining table seating. The two of us were hardly in each others way while both inside. In the class B I rented, my wife and I had to take turns being up and moving around or we were constantly in each others way. We are both over 6' tall. Fred the RV rides like a land yacht. Easy and smooth, smoother than some pickup trucks I've owned. Good visibility. Tracked well while traveling 65-70 on the interstate. We got hit by monsoon rain fronts and being up high I could still see and felt safe, put on the hazards and kept going slow, drove out of harms way rather than pull over. Doors stayed shut on the bumps. Overall a very good mid distance traveler. Runs regular unleaded, gas mileage was about what I expected. Jerry was Very good about communication during reservation, pickup, drop off. No issues there what so ever. Thank you Jerry, I would definitely rent Fred from you again.

We had THE MOST EPIC ADVENTURE with the RV we rented from Dufourfun RV Rentals. They made it so easy to pick up, drop off and solve any problem or question we had while on the road for a week. We could not have had a better experience and will definitely rent from them again. I highly recommend them!

I want to thank Jerry so much for being so patient with us and for answering all of our (many) questions during our trip! Always answered quickly and thoroughly. My son and I had such a good time on our vacation. All thanks to Fred!! It drives very smooth, everything is in working condition, bed was comfortable! I loved it. Another thing I appreciate is that there was no mandatory cleaning fee or anything like that, just a policy to bring it back in the same condition you got it in. Very reasonable policy.

Renting Fred from Jerry completed a truly wonderful vacation!! Nothing like having the whole family together making memories. The motorhome was clean, functional and the perfect size to maneuver anywhere we needed to go. Jerry was a true professional and responded to communication immediately. We have owned motorhomes in the past and this one had been kept clean and was very easy to drive. The size was perfect! We cannot say enough good things about Jerry and the motorhome affectionately called Fred. Without a doubt, we would rent from Jerry again should our family plan another trip in the future! It was very clean, nicely appointed with everything you need---linens, towels, toiletries, cooking utensils, dishes, paper products, etc. We had no questions that went unanswered! WALLY was easy to drive and to park. We did the self-return on Sunday evening and texted back and forth with Jerry providing immediate responses. I highly recommend this RV and will very likely rent it again!
